The khutor is located on the Nikovets Brook (a right tributary of the Ruda in the basin of the Svapa), from the RussiaâÂÂUkraine border, north-west of Kursk, south-west of the district center â the town Fatezh, and from the selsoviet center â Bolshoye Zhirovo.
