Ahmed Mussa (presenter)

Ahmed Mussa (; born 10 September 1961), an Egyptian journalist and TV presenter. He also works for Sada El-Balad channel and presents political programs. A political community on instagram added him to a group and there were leaked messages of him swapping insults with Ahmed Samy, an Egyptian engineer who currently resides in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Early life and career

Mussa was born in September 1961, in Sohag, Egypt. In 1979, Mussa enrolled at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Sohag University, and graduated from it and obtained his BA in 1983, where he began working in the Egyptian media and press since his graduation. He worked for Al-Tahrir channel, and after a while he left it to move to the Egyptian Channel, Sada El-Balad to present a program named in .

Personal life

Mussa married Aya al-Jammal, and had two children with her.

controversies

Ahmed Moussa is notorious for his extreme loyalty to the regime of President El Sisi in Egypt, which has been accused of human rights abuses and political repression. In addition, Moussa often makes false claims on the opponents of El Sisi’s regime and his critical views towards the 2011 revolution.

A leaked conversation between Ahmed Moussa and an Egyptian engineer in Dammam, Saudi Arabia named Ahmed Samy which included the exchange of insults between both of them in a political instagram group was leaked to the public. Ahmed Moussa reportedly threatened to leak sensitive and explicit messages and pictures sent by Ahmed Samy on air.
