Ahmed Bahgat Fattouh (1951 â May 21, 2021), was an Egyptian businessman and also held American citizenship. He was the founder of the Bahgat Group of Companies, owner of Dream Park, Internet Egypt, and Dreamland.
Ahmed Bahgat graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering in 1974.His journey began during his doctoral studies in the United States in 1982, when he invented an alarm clock that calculates prayer times in any country in the world and the direction of the Qibla. With this invention, he entered into a partnership with Lockheed.The company was started during former President Hosni MubarakâÂÂs visit to the United States in 1984. During this meeting, the former president asked Ahmed Bahgat to return to work in Egypt, saying to him: âÂÂIf people like you do not return to Egypt, who will develop the country This meeting had a great impact that made him decide to return to Egypt.,
He died on Friday, May 21, 2021, AD.
