Aḥmad KhwÃÂjagë b. JalÃÂl ad-Dën al-KÃÂsÃÂnë (; ; died 1542âÂÂ43), revered as the Makhdà «m-i AÿáºÂam (; , 'Greatest Teacher'), was a á¹¢à «fë saint of the Naqshbandiyya. He was born in the FarghÃÂna valley and became a disciple of KhwÃÂja AḥrÃÂr in TÃÂshkand. He created a á¹¢à «fë hostel in BukhÃÂràand died in his estate in Dahbëd. His descendants dominated the history of Eastern TurkistÃÂn in the 17thâÂÂ18th centuries. Among them was ÃÂfÃÂq KhwÃÂja, who preached in KÃÂshghar.
