ÃÂdityahá¹Âdayam (, ) is a Hindu devotional hymn, dedicated to ÃÂditya or Sà «rya (the Sun God), found in the Yuddha KÃÂnda (6.105) of VÃÂlmëki's RÃÂmÃÂyana. It was recited by the sage Agastya to RÃÂma in the battlefield before fighting with the Rakshasa king RÃÂvaá¹Âa. In it, Agastya teaches RÃÂma the procedure of worshiping ÃÂditya for strength to defeat the enemy.
ÃÂditya (, lit. "son of Aditi") refers to the Sun. Há¹Âdayam () is the Sanskrit word for "heart".
