Abe Bueno-Jallad (also credited as Abe Martell) is an American actor best known for portraying apostle James the Great in the television series The Chosen.
Bueno-Jallad was born in El Paso, Texas on 10 June 1988. He was raised in Mexico and in the American Southwest.
He worked on a psychiatric research grant in New Mexico. He received his MFA in acting from the USC School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
Bueno-Jallad has been acting in both Spanish and English language films since he was 18. He joined the cast of The Chosen in Season 2. He said he explored the Bible more deeply since then. Initially, he auditioned for three other roles before he got this one.
Bueno-Jallad is married and has one son. He speaks Spanish, English and some Arabic.
