Local elections will be held in the United States throughout the 2026 to elect officers of municipal and county governments. At least 22 mayorships in the country's top 100 most populous cities will be up for election, and many more will hold elections for local ballot measures, city council, and numerous other municipal offices. Many of these races will coincide with the 2026 midterm elections.
Consolidated city-counties such as Louisville, Kentucky (co-extensive with Jefferson County) are listed elsewhere on the page.
