The 2026 United States Senate election in Rhode Island will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Rhode Island. Primary elections will be held on September 8, 2026. Incumbent Democratic senator Jack Reed is running for re-election. The state has been represented by Democrats since 2007 and is considered a safe Democratic win, Republicans have not won a U.S. Senate election since 2000. This seat has been won by Democrats since 1936 and so if Reed wins reelection, this seat would have been won by Democrats for 90 straight years.
