The 2026 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup will be the 16th edition of the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's national field hockey teams organized by the International Hockey Federation. It will be held from 14 to 30 August 2026 in Wavre, Belgium and Amstelveen, Netherlands.
The International Hockey Federation announced on 15 June 2022 that they received the following five bids for the 2026 World Cup.
The following two bids included holding combined men's and women's world cup simultaneously:
Wavre, Belgium and Amstelveen, Netherlands were awarded the hosting rights on 3 November 2022.
Just as in 2018 and 2023, 16 teams will compete in the tournament. Alongside hosts, Belgium and Netherlands, the top-ranked team in the 2023âÂÂ24 and 2024âÂÂ25 seasons in the FIH Pro League and the five continental champions receive an automatic berth. Then 16 teams from all over the five continents competed for the last seven places at the World Cup Qualifiers. Out of them England, Pakistan and Japan being the top three teams at the qualifier held at Ismailia qualified for the World Cup tournament. On the other hand, Malaysia qualified on the basis of their world ranking. At the qualifier held at Santiago, three teams namely, Ireland, France and Wales got first three positions locking their places in the Men's World Cup hockey tournament.

The draw took place on 17 March 2026.
The hosts schedule was published on 30 September 2025. The match schedule was revealed on 18 March 2026.
