The 2022 Missouri State Bears football team represented Missouri State University as a member of the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) during the 2022 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by Bobby Petrino in his third and final season as head coach, the Bears compiled an overall record of 5âÂÂ6 with a mark of 3âÂÂ5 in conference play, placing eighth in the MVFC. Missouri State played home games at Robert W. Plaster Stadium in Springfield, Missouri.
