The 2020 UTEP Miners football team represented the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) as a member of the West Division in Conference USA (C-USA) during the 2020 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by third-year head coach Dana Dimel, the Miners compiled an overall record of 3âÂÂ5 with a mark of 0âÂÂ4 in conference play, placing seventh at the bottom of the standings in C-USA's West Division. The team played home games at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
UTEP announced its 2020 football schedule on January 8, 2020. The Miners had games scheduled against FIU, Nevada, New Mexico State, Rice, Southern Miss, Texas Tech and UAB that were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The C-USA Media Days were held virtually for the first time in conference history.
