The 2017 UConn Huskies football team represented the University of Connecticut (UConn) as a member of the American Athletic Conference (AAC) during the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by 13th-year head coach Randy Edsall, who returned after having helmed the program from 1999 to 2010, the Huskies compiled an overall record of 3âÂÂ9 with a mark of 2âÂÂ6 in conference play, placing in a three-way tie for fourth at the bottom of the standings in the AAC's East Division. The team played home games at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut.
