The 2006 UTEP Miners football team represented the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) as a member of the West Division in Conference USA (C-USA) during the 2006 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Led by third-year head coach Mike Price, the Miners compiled an overall record of 5âÂÂ7 with a mark of 3âÂÂ5 in conference play, placing fifth in the C-USA's West Division. The team played home games at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
UTEP averaged 42,444 fans per game, ranking 50th nationally.
