The 2004 Connecticut Huskies football team represented the University of Connecticut as a member of the Big East Conference during the 2004 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by sixth-year head coach Randy Edsall, the Huskies compiled an overall record of 8âÂÂ4 with a mark of 3âÂÂ3 in conference play, placing fifth in the Big East. Connecticut was invited to a bowl game for the first time in program history, defeating Toledo in the Motor City Bowl. The team played home games at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut.
