General elections were held in Republika Srpska on 5 October 2002, as part of the general elections across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dragan ÃÂaviÃÂ of the Serb Democratic Party was elected president.
As of 2025, This was the most recent Presidential election that the Serb Democratic Party or any other party other then Alliance of Independent Social Democrats won.
