The 2001 Temple Owls football team represented Temple University as a member of the Big East Conference during the 2001 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Bobby Wallace, the Owls compiled an overall record of 4âÂÂ7 with a mark of 2âÂÂ5 in conference play, placing sixth in the Big East. Temple played home games at Veterans Stadium and Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
