The 1998 Redbridge Council election took place on 7 May 1998 to elect members of Redbridge London Borough Council in London, England. The whole council was up for election and the council stayed in no overall control.
In between the 1994 election and this election there were a total of 5 by-election to replace councillor who either resigned from their seats or who died in office, however none of them resulted in seats changing parties.
