The 1998 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team represented the University of NebraskaâÂÂLincoln as a member of the North Division of the Big 12 Conference during the 1998 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by first-year head coach Frank Solich, the Cornhuskers compiled an overall record of 9âÂÂ4 with a mark of 5âÂÂ3 in conference play, tying for second place in the Big 12's North Division. Nebraska was invited to the Holiday Bowl, where the Cornhuskers lost to Arizona. The team played home games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska.
