The 1997 Karjala Tournament was played between 6 and 9 November 1997. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. All of the games were played in Hartwall Areena, Helsinki, Finland. Sweden won the tournament. The tournament was part of the 1997âÂÂ98 Euro Hockey Tour.
