The 1968 Georgia Bulldogs football team represented the University of Georgia as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1968 NCAA University Division football season. Led by fifth-year head coach Vince Dooley, the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 8âÂÂ1âÂÂ2, with a mark of 5âÂÂ0âÂÂ1 in conference play, and finished as SEC champion. The team was named national champion by NCAA-designated major selector Litkenhous.
