The 1948 Lehigh Engineers football team was an American football team that represented Lehigh University as an independent during the 1948 college football season. Lehigh finished last in the Middle Three Conference In their third year under head coach Bill Leckonby, the Engineers compiled a 5âÂÂ4 record, 0âÂÂ2 against conference opponents. DeForrest Bast was the team captain. Lehigh played home games at Taylor Stadium in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
