The 1947 Utah Utes football team, or also commonly known as the Utah Redskins, was an American football team that represented the University of Utah as a member of the Mountain States Conference (MSC) during the 1947 college football season. In their 23rd season under head coach Ike Armstrong, the Utes compiled an overall record of 8âÂÂ1âÂÂ1 with a mark of 6âÂÂ0 against conference opponents, winning the MSC title.
Utah was ranked at No. 80 (out of 500 college football teams) in the final Litkenhous Ratings for 1947.
Utah had three players selected in the 1948 NFL draft.
