The 1941 Iowa Hawkeyes football team was an American football team that represented the University of Iowa as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 1941 Big Ten football season. In their third year under head coach Eddie Anderson, the Hawkeyes compiled a 3âÂÂ5 record (2âÂÂ4 in conference games), finished in sixth place in the Big Ten, and were outscored by a total of 99 to 91. Iowa was ranked No. 51 (out of 681 teams) in the final Litkenhous Ratings released in December 1941.
The team played its home games at Iowa Stadium (later renamed Kinnick Stadium) in Iowa City, Iowa.
