The 1939 LSU Tigers football team was an American football team that represented Louisiana State University (LSU) as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1939 college football season. In their fifth year under head coach Bernie Moore, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 4âÂÂ5, with a conference record of 1âÂÂ5, and finished 10th in the SEC.
LSU was not ranked in the final AP poll, but it was ranked at No. 38 in the 1939 Williamson System ratings, and at No. 38 in the Litkenhous Ratings.
