10th National Assembly of Slovenia

The 10th National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia was elected at the legislative election held on 22 March 2026.

Major events

• March 22, 2026: Parliamentary election
• Freedom Movement is a relative winner with 29 MPs, Slovenian Democratic Party is second with 28 MPs. Seven lists in total reached 4% threshold.
• April 10, 2026: Constitutive session of the National Assembly
• President Pirc Musar is expected to convene the first session of the newly elected National Assembly on April 10, 2026.
• The mandate of the 15th Government (Golob cabinet) ends; it will remain in office in a caretaker capacity until new government is appointed.
