(+)-Caryolan-1-ol synthase

(+)-Caryolan-1-ol synthase (, GcoA) is an enzyme with systematic name (+)-ÃÂ²-caryophyllene hydrolase (cyclizing, (+)-caryolan-1-ol-forming). This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

(+)-ÃÂ²-caryophyllene + H<sub>2</sub>O (+)-caryolan-1-ol

This enzyme also forms (+)-ÃÂ²-caryophyllene from farnesyl diphosphate ().
